With the aim of achieving digitisation and better management of analyses and traceability of work tasks, the IBM Maximo software tool was implemented in Energetika Maribor's processes.
The primary activity of the public enterprise Energetika Maribor is the production of heat energy for the final consumers of the municipality of Maribor. The production is mainly carried out by means of gas-fired (for the time being) combustion plants and combined heat and power (CHP) plants. The tracking of work tasks, the introduction of paperless operations, the desire for analysis and optimisation of production have also necessitated a step forward in the field of digitalisation.
In terms of cost planning, the digitisation of maintenance was aimed at reducing the cost of preventive maintenance and the number of downtimes of production facilities. Based on a detailed analysis of the digitisation tools on the market, we decided to choose IBM Maximo, which was implemented by the experienced staff of Kopa d.d. from Slovenj Gradec.
