The project has optimised the production process and further strengthened process monitoring and product quality with innovative solutions for capturing real-time data from machines. Data that previously required time and physical presence at the machine can now be accessed in real time. The time to retrieve data from production has been reduced from a few minutes or more to a fraction of a second. Distributing documents to work centres no longer requires a physical journey to the machine. Errors due to incorrect versions of paper documentation no longer occur.
